Instrucciones de instalación
Follow these steps to set up your pond filter and fountain kit:
- Prepare the Filter Unit:
Open the filter unit by unlatching the blue clips. Insert the coarse sponge (blue) and fine sponge (yellow) into their designated slots. Place the ceramic rings and bio-balls into the remaining compartments. Ensure the pump is securely positioned inside the unit. - Armar la fuente:
Attach the telescopic spray rod to the pump outlet. Select your desired spray nozzle (Bell, Volcano, or Daisy) and securely fasten it to the top of the telescopic rod. Adjust the rod's height as needed for your pond depth. - Optional Secondary Water Output:
If you wish to power an additional water feature (e.g., a waterfall), connect appropriate tubing to the secondary water outlet on the filter unit. Nota: Avoid using the Bell fountain jet when the secondary outlet is in use, as this may distort the bell shape. - Colocación en el estanque:
Carefully place the assembled filter unit into your pond, ensuring it is fully submerged and resting on a stable surface. Position it where the fountain effect is desired and where the power cord can safely reach an outdoor-rated electrical outlet. - Conecte la electricidad:
Once the unit is properly placed and submerged, connect the power cord to a GFCI-protected (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outdoor electrical outlet.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento
After successful setup, operating your AquaMiracle pond filter is straightforward:
- Encendido: Plug the unit into a suitable electrical outlet. The pump will immediately begin circulating water and creating the chosen fountain pattern.
- Adjusting Fountain Height: The telescopic spray rod allows for height adjustment. Loosen the locking mechanism on the rod, adjust to the desired height, and then re-tighten.
- Cambiar los patrones de pulverización: To change the spray pattern, disconnect power, remove the current nozzle, and attach a different one. Reconnect power.
- Proceso de filtración: Water is drawn into the unit and passes through four layers of filtration:
- Coarse Sponge: Traps larger debris such as leaves and sediment.
- Fine Sponge: Captures smaller particles, improving water clarity.
- Anillos de cerámica: Provide a large surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize, breaking down ammonia and nitrites.
- Bio-Balls: Further enhance biological filtration and improve dissolved oxygen levels.

Mantenimiento
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your pond filter. Always disconnect power before maintenance.
- Filter Media Cleaning:
The coarse and fine sponges should be rinsed regularly, typically every 1-2 weeks, depending on pond debris levels. Remove the sponges and rinse them thoroughly with pond water (not tap water, to preserve beneficial bacteria) until clean. - Ceramic Rings and Bio-Balls:
These biological media should be gently rinsed with pond water only when they appear heavily clogged. Avoid aggressive cleaning, as this can remove beneficial bacteria. - Limpieza de la bomba:
Periodically inspect the pump impeller for blockages from debris. Remove the pump from the housing and clean any accumulated sludge or foreign objects. - Limpieza de viviendas:
Clean the main filter housing as needed to remove any accumulated sludge or algae.
