• Dual USB Controllers: The TS5 Plus incorporates two independent 10Gb/s USB controllers, one for the front ports and one for the rear ports. This design minimizes bottlenecks when multiple high-speed USB devices are connected.

• Bandwidth Boost: Thunderbolt 5's Bandwidth Boost feature allows up to 120Gb/s performance to be dynamically allocated to connected displays, ideal for high-resolution and high-refresh-rate monitors.

4. Instrucciones de configuración

Follow these steps to set up your CalDigit TS5 Plus dock:

1. Colocación: Position the CalDigit TS5 Plus on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the dock, as the aluminum chassis acts as a heat sink. Avoid placing it in enclosed spaces or near heat sources.
2. Conecte la electricidad: Connect the included 330W power supply to the DC In port on the rear of the TS5 Plus, then plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
3. Connect Host Computer: Use the provided Thunderbolt 5 braided cable to connect your computer's Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4, or USB4 v2 port to the host Thunderbolt 5 port on the TS5 Plus (labeled 'Computer / 140W').
4. Conectar periféricos: Connect your external displays, USB devices, Ethernet cable, and audio devices to the appropriate ports on the TS5 Plus.
5. Encendido: The TS5 Plus will power on automatically once connected to power and a host computer.

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

Once set up, the CalDigit TS5 Plus operates as an extension of your computer's connectivity. Here are general operating guidelines:

• Conexión en caliente: Most devices connected to the TS5 Plus can be hot-plugged (connected or disconnected while the dock is in use) without issues. However, it is recommended to safely eject external storage devices before disconnecting them to prevent data corruption.
• La entrega de energía: The dock will automatically provide power to your connected host laptop (up to 140W) and charge compatible accessories through its downstream USB-C and Thunderbolt ports.

• macOS Devices: Supports up to Dual 6K 60Hz displays, or Dual 8K 60Hz displays on Macs that support these resolutions. High-refresh rates up to Dual 4K 240Hz are also supported.

Note: Display support and maximum resolutions/refresh rates are dependent on your computer's capabilities. Consult your computer manufacturer for specific display support information. macOS does not support Triple displays.

7. Compatibilidad

The CalDigit TS5 Plus is designed for broad compatibility with modern computing systems:

The TS5 Plus is compatible with Thunderbolt and USB4 host devices. For maximum performance, a Thunderbolt 5 (80Gb/s) or USB4 v2 (80Gb/s) host connection is required. Users with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB4 hosts may experience reduced functionality. The TS5 Plus also supports Thunderbolt-based tablet devices. Non-Thunderbolt or non-USB4 based host devices are not supported.

8. Mantenimiento

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your CalDigit TS5 Plus:

• Limpieza: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior of the dock. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials.
