Configuración e instalación

Antes de comenzar, asegúrese de tener las siguientes herramientas:

• Destornillador Phillips

Pasos de instalación:

1. Apagar la energía: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that controls the power to the outdoor light fixture. Turn off the power completely before proceeding. Verify the power is off using a voltage probador.
2. Retire el accesorio antiguo (si corresponde): Carefully disconnect and remove any existing light fixture from the junction box.
3. Coloque la placa de montaje: Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the plate is level and firmly attached.
4. Realice conexiones eléctricas:
   • Conectar el negro Cable desde el accesorio hasta el negro Cable (caliente) de la caja de conexiones usando una tuerca para cables.
   • Conectar el blanco Cable desde el accesorio hasta el blanco Cable (neutro) de la caja de conexiones usando una tuerca para cables.
   • Conectar el verde o cable de cobre desnudo (tierra) desde el artefacto hasta el verde or bare copper (ground) wire from the junction box using a wire nut. If no ground wire is available in the junction box, connect to the ground screw on the mounting plate.
   • Ensure all connections are secure and cover wire nuts with electrical tape for added insulation.
5. Monte el accesorio: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting plate. Secure the fixture to the mounting plate using the provided screws, ensuring a snug fit against the wall. If a gasket is provided, place it between the fixture and the mounting surface for a weather-tight seal.
6. Restaurar energía: Una vez que el artefacto esté instalado de forma segura y se hayan realizado todas las conexiones, restablezca la energía en el disyuntor.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

This Feit Electric lantern features a built-in Dusk-to-Dawn sensor, allowing for automatic operation.

• Operación automática: The integrated sensor will detect ambient light levels. The lantern will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
• Anulación manual (si corresponde): If connected to a wall switch, the fixture can be manually turned on or off. For continuous automatic operation, ensure the wall switch remains in the "ON" position.
• Característica regulable: This fixture is dimmable. Ensure you use a compatible LED dimmer switch for optimal performance. Refer to the dimmer switch manufacturer's instructions for proper installation and operation.

Mantenimiento

The Feit Electric 14-inch Black Rectangular Lantern is designed for minimal maintenance.
