Configuración inicial

Before first use, ensure your Nitecore EDC17 is fully charged. The device comes with a pre-installed glass-breaking tip. A smooth end cap is also included in the package if you prefer to swap it for daily carry.

The EDC17 features a unique dual-control interface with a sliding switch and an 'M' button for intuitive operation.

Operación de luz blanca

Slide the main switch forward towards the head to turn the white light on. While the white light is on, slide the switch forward again to cycle through the brightness levels: Ultralow (1 lumen), Low (50 lumens), Mid (220 lumens), and High (1500 lumens). Slide the switch backward to turn the light off.

Operación de luz ultravioleta

With the white light off, press the 'M' button to switch to the UV light mode. Press the 'M' button again to cycle through the three UV power settings: Level 1 (220mW), Level 2 (650mW), and Level 3 (1350mW).

Green Beam Operation

With the white light off, press the 'M' button twice to activate the green beam. The green beam is a Class 3R (<5mW) laser. To combine the white light and green beam, hold the 'M' button while the white light is on.

Controles

The EDC17 features an intuitive one-hand dual control layout:

• Interruptor deslizante: Used for turning the white light ON/OFF and adjusting its brightness levels.
• Botón 'M': Used for switching between the white light, UV light, and green beam. A short press cycles through the light sources. Press and hold for direct access to the green beam when the light is off.

Cargando

The Nitecore EDC17 is equipped with a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable battery and a USB-C charging port. To charge, locate the recessed USB-C port on the side of the flashlight, protected by a cover. Lift the cover and insert the provided USB-C charging cable. The LED indicator lights will show the charging status and battery level.
