To sync the microphone, turn on the receiver and the microphone. Press the SET or SYNC button on the receiver, then hold the microphone's IR window close to the receiver's IR window (about 10cm away). The receiver will automatically transmit the frequency data to the microphone.
Check that both the receiver and transmitter are powered on and that the microphone isn't muted. Verify that the volume knob on the receiver is turned up, fresh batteries are installed in the mic, and the receiver is properly connected to your speaker or mixer using a 1/4 inch or XLR cable.
On most UHF models, you can press the 'Scan' button or double-press the 'SET' button on the receiver to activate the automatic frequency search function. The system will look for a safe frequency free of local interference.
